The 14th Scale Model Challenge an international show for scale modelers and figure painters, was held in the Netherlands on October 14-15, 2023. The event with more than 3,000 competing works, over 150 dealers, exhibitors from around the world, several model workshops of famous model makers, and several thousand participants and visitors, is one of the biggest shows in the world.
At the show, Mr. Robert Chrombeecke, president of the Scale Model Challenge, and Mr. Bine Logar, Back to Basics CEO, both signed the partnership certificate joining Back to Basics and Scale Model Challenge together with the aim of popularizing the hobby in a new, innovative way.
At the show, we organized a Back to Basics Workshop for local kids and a presentation of painting a modern European firefighter bust by Anže Zorko. The main goal of the Back to Basics project is to inspire young people to take the first steps in our beautiful hobby!
